Natural Prescriptions and Remedies for memory loss and cognitive decline

  • Phosphatidylserine : 100 to 300 mg
  • Acetyl-L-carnitine: Start with 250 mg per day and increase up to 4,000 mg per day in divided doses.
  • GPC: 300 to 1200 mg in the morning
  • Alpha Lipoic Acid: 100 mg
  • Omega-3-fatty acids (either in capsules or liquid fish oil): 1000 to 3000 mg
  • B-complex vitamin: include extra B12 (1000 mcg may be best for older people)
