Lemon Balm Bedtime Tea for Stress Reduction

1 cup (240 ml) water
2 teaspoons (10 ml) dried lemon balm
1 teaspoon (5 ml) dried chamomile
1 teaspoon (5 ml) honey, optional

Herbal experts say that the volatile oils in lemon balm offer mild muscle relaxation, an aid in helping you sleep. Chamomile is also known for its relaxing effect. While the bright flavor of lemon balm can complement many other types of herbs, it pairs particularly well with chamomile, especially if slumer is your goal. Bring the water to a ganelt boil. Steep the lemon balm and chamomile in the water for 10 to 15 minutes, keeping it covered to preserve the volatile oils. Strain the tea and add honey, if desired, then drink.
