Brewer’s Yeast Controls Blood Sugar

When low blood sugar is a problem-as with many diabetics and others whose blood sugar levels may swing unpredictably-medical solutions, or even a strict diet, may not control the problem completely. Sometimes, though, the added effect of a mineral supplement – chromium – can make a noticeable difference. many doctors will suggest foods that contain chromuim (lean meats, whole-grain breads), but brewer's yeast is an even more valuable source. Suggested dosage: Two teaspoons in juice or water, twice a day.
