Put Out Fires Naturally
1 Cup (300g) Salt
If a flare-up occurs while cooking, don't reach for the fire extinguisher; instead, quickly cover the bottom of the pan with a layer of salt (about 1 cup or 300 g) and place a lid on top. Never try to tame the flame with water because that will only intensify the reaction.
Keep in mind, if its a large fire – call the fire department 😉 as you Can still use your fire extinguisher, use common sense!
