Sugar for Treating Chapped Lips
Who doesn’t love sugar! It’s an organic pure form, sugar has many benefits and one is for exfoliating. Sugar is gentle on the skin and when used with an oil like coconut oil or jojoba oil, sugar can be your best friend when used as a lip scrub to remove unwanted dead skin.
- Mix two teaspoons of sugar with one teaspoon of honey,coconut oil or jojoba oil. Apply the paste to your lips and let it sit for a few minutes.
- Then use your fingers to gently rub the mixture around on your lips to loosen the dead skin cells.
- Wash it off with lukewarm water.
Also try using a toothbrush or wet cloth to rub mixture on lips and around to remove dead skin.
