Cinnamon Sore-Throat Milk
1 cup (240 ml) milk
1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) powdered ginger
1 tablespoon (15 ml) of honey
If a hacking cough or sore throat has you wide awake and miserable before bedtime, a warm cup of cinnamon milk just might help you get a restful night's sleep. Stir the cinnamon and ginger into the milk and heat in the microwave or on the stovetop until warm. Stir in the honey until dissolved. Serve warm.
